EOS9cat’s production system is fully in place.

The first consideration is to use Cloud-based servers which have no overhead costs, and the monthly rental cost is relatively low. However, by using cloud service, it will centralize the system to the server provider, which has the probability of having a single point of failure.

Given the considerations above, instead of using cloud servers, EOS9Cat will use bare-metal servers which will provide a long-term, robust, and reliable EOS eco-system for dApp developers.

Along with the increasing number of dApp being created on the EOS blockchain, a block producer needs to have the flexibility to scale up his service.
